Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall seems to be capitalizing on its BeltLine-adjacent real estate like no other Atlanta establishment, and now it's ready to debut The Grove aspect of the concept. The outdoor bar area, in the works since December, will officially open today at 11 a.m.
The new space, which takes up 4,000 square feet of yard that butts right up against the BeltLine's Eastside Trail, features a vintage camper that's been transformed into a bar and is serving its own beverage menu. Drinks include a rotating selection of punches and cocktails, draft beer, canned beer, and wine.
Seating is available in the form of Adirondack chairs and large, beer garden-style tables. And to help pass the time, The Grove offers ping pong tables and will host live music on weekends. Dogs are welcome, and "an abundance of bike racks" are available for pedaling patrons.
Ladybird is open Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
