Yebo has closed up shop at its Phipps Plaza space, and an updated concept for restaurateur Justin Anthony will open in the former Coast space next week. The new Yebo Beach Haus will hold onto Anthony's trademark South African influence, but it will trade in its Southern side for a coastal feel, inspired by the Hamptons in New York and Venice Beach in California.
The revamped, relocated eatery, opening at 111 West Paces Ferry Rd., will bring "new life to the vintage house-turned-restaurant space," according to the Yebo team. Interior designer Kelly Anthony, wife of Justin, was in charge of creating the Beach Haus's look. There's a patio outside, and inside diners will find white-washed walls, dark cherry wood-stained floors, and driftwood décor elements.
Yebo Beach Haus opens to the public on Tuesday, April 26, at 5 p.m., and lunch service will be launched soon. Brunch is on deck for Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
