The ever-expanding Willy's Mexicana Grill empire is working on two more locations for its roster of restaurants. Willy's announced Monday it will open outposts in Alpharetta and Lawrenceville, both of which are on track to begin serving early this summer.

The restaurant at 5304 Windward Parkway will be Willy's first in the Alpharetta area, and the company says it took cues from fans on social media in picking that location. Willy's forthcoming restaurant at 938 Duluth Highway in Lawrenceville will be its second in Gwinnett County, following previous expansion to Norcross. In addition to the brick-and-mortar in Lawrenceville, Willy's has parked its food truck on site to offer lunchtime diners an early taste. The truck is serving every Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., aside from May 4 and May 18.

Founder Willy Bitter opened his first restaurant in 1995 in Buckhead. The local burrito chain now operates 27 locations in the state of Georgia.
