Comedian Katt Williams is making a habit of getting arrested in the Peach State. Already facing allegations of brawling with a high schooler in Gainesville and stealing cell phones from five women in Atlanta, Williams's latest legal entanglement stems from an apparent meltdown at a restaurant in East Point. He was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly attacking a manager at Spondivits with a salt shaker, reports TMZ.
It seems Williams and his entourage were seeking star treatment at the seafood house. The party reportedly took over a table without waiting to be seated, which led to a dispute between Williams and the manager. The funnyman became so heated, he allegedly picked up a salt shaker and hurled it at his victim, leaving the manager's lip busted open.
Like many an Atlantan, once his initial dinner idea fell through, Williams's backup plan called for settling at Waffle House. Police arrested him at a nearby outpost for the Norcross-based greasy spoon chain, according to Channel 2. He was charged with battery and released from the East Point jail on bond early Thursday morning.
