University of Georgia alums and Athens expats, take note. Classic City standout Pauley's Crepe Bar is about to open its Westside outpost. The restaurant, located at 935 Marietta St., begins service with a soft opening this Saturday and Sunday, according to a Facebook announcement.

Pauley's expansion to Atlanta was first announced back in July 2014, and there were reports of an imminent launch last summer. But as is often the case with restaurant openings in this city, building and permit delays put a dent in that timeline.

Once it's up and running, Pauley's kitchen will serve Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The bar will open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 2:30 a.m. and Sunday from noon to midnight. In addition to a variety of sweet and savory crepes, Pauley's bar will feature a large selection of craft beers — 170 in all, 30 on tap —  focusing on local brews.
