Chef Marco Serrano's Taco Night pop-up is back for another round at Last Word this week. Bernard Moussa, owner of the Old Fourth Ward restaurant, tells Eater Atlanta Serrano will serve his Mexican fare Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The food and beverage menus from Taco Night's latest Last Word appearances will remain the same.
Last Word has seen a number of changes lately. Before Taco Night showed up in late April, Timothy Faulkner's Up Or Down cocktail pop-up served out of the space earlier last month, and chef Andy Tran's Ramen Crush took up residency during March. Last Word executive chef Layla Walk and beverage director Cole Younger Just recently announced their amicable departures as well. Regarding the restaurant's future beyond Taco Night, Moussa says he is "playing around with some ideas."
Information on future pop-ups that will take over the Last Word kitchen should be available soon, according to Moussa.
