One of Atlanta's Incoming Cat Cafes Has a Name

The name was chosen via popular vote

Hadyn Hilton has a name and logo for her forthcoming cat cafe. After initially calling it Catlanta before changing directions to avoid conflict with a local artist, Hilton put the name up to a fan vote. The people have spoken, and her cafe will be called Java Cats.

And in the spirit of democracy, Hilton put the final logo up for a vote as well.

Hilton has launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund her venture, and as of this posting she's raised more than $5,600 from 66 contributors. Another forthcoming Cat Cafe, April Hill's Happy Tabby, is soliciting donations via Kickstarter as well. Both are looking to open their cafes somewhere on the East Side of Atlanta.
