Grindhouse Killer Burgers Is Certified Open in Decatur

The local burger chain continues to grow

Jonathan Phillips/Eater Atlanta

Alex Brounstein's sixth Grindhouse Killer Burgers location is officially up and running. The Decatur restaurant opened over the weekend at 433 North McDonough St., and the early word on the street says its rooftop sports bar and patio is already a popular destination.

Grindhouse Decatur's launch follows the original stand inside Sweet Auburn Curb Market, freestanding restaurants on Piedmont Avenue and in Athens, and two Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport outposts. A seventh, in the former Bar One space on Memorial Drive, is slated to open sometime next year adjacent to the forthcoming Atlanta Dairies mixed-use development. Since its birth in 2009, Grindhouse has made a name for itself by offering build-your-own options and a few house-concocted burgers.

Hours for the Brounstein's latest eatery are Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Take a look at the full food and beer menus below.
