Hampton & Hudson Is Open in Inman Quarter; Scope the Menu

The development's roster continues to expand

Another anticipated Inman Park opening is in business. Hampton & Hudson, the latest venture from busy Midtown restaurateur Billy Streck and his wife Jenn, opened Wednesday in the Inman Quarter mixed-use development. The "community-driven bar and restaurant," as the Strecks are calling it, is serving lunch and dinner, but a liquor license is still in the works.

Jason Hall, previously of Max's Wine Dive and Mason Tavern, is on board as executive chef. Hall and his team are turning out a menu that includes an assortment of toasts — is this the trending dish's breakout moment in Atlanta? —  salads, sandwiches, entrees, sides, and desserts. The restaurant's hot chicken biscuit sliders appear to be especially popular in the early going. Hampton & Hudson is pouring iced coffee on draft, and once a liquor license is acquired, it will add more than 20 draft beers, wine, and a cocktail list featuring "tweaked classics" and seasonal beverages. In the meantime, the team suggests diners bring in a beverage from the nearby Stout Brothers Beer Market.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to midnight. Take a look at the menu below.
