South City Kitchen has been a staple in Midtown since 1993, and the restaurant's Vinings location has seen success since 2006. Now, Fifth Group Restaurants hopes a third outpost for the concept will live up to that track record. South City Kitchen Buckhead opened earlier this week, serving lunch and dinner at 3350 Peachtree Rd., Suite 140.
The restaurant takes up 6,000 square feet on the first floor of the 3350 Peachtree building, and the design was a collaboration between Fifth Group and John Barton of Parkway Properties. Like the Midtown and Vinings locations, a street-level patio offers al fresco dining. But the Buckhead restaurant includes the added bonus of a second-floor patio, which looks out over Peachtree Road.
