The lunchtime pop-up at TGM Bread is about to get a makeover, co-owner Jennifer Johnson tells Eater Atlanta. The General Muir chef Todd Ginsberg's soup and sandwiches, served on baker Rob Alexander's bread, are off the menu after today's service. Starting next week, the Emory Point bakery instead will offer pita wraps and hummus.
The pop-up's hours remain the same: Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In addition to Ginsberg's "fresh hummus bowls," diners can choose pita wraps dressed with hummus, pickles, and onion. The menu includes four varieties.
- Lamb, cilantro, mint
- Egg, harissa, parsley
- Rancho Gordo chickpeas, olive oil
- Heirloom tomatoes, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper
TGM Bread opened in January, providing baked goods for The General Muir, West Egg Cafe, Fred's Meat & Bread, and Yalla, as well as wholesale accounts. Beyond the lunch pop-up on weekdays, bread is for sale to the public during weekend retail hours.
