An argument erupted into a shooting at Zinburger over the weekend, reports Channel 2. Atlanta Police reportedly have one many in custody after he fired a shot inside the Buckhead restaurant on Sunday afternoon. No one was hurt.
The incident began with a verbal altercation, and it escalated when the suspect slapped his dining companion in the face and pulled out a handgun. Both men involved fled the scene, but APD announced it had made an arrest at 9:45 p.m. Sunday night, according to 11 Alive. While the suspect's name was not revealed, he was described as "a white man in a blue shirt." Officers are investigating surveillance footage and trying to gather information on the other man involved.
Zinburger is located in the crowded Lenox Square at 3393 Peachtree Rd. NE, and the shooting reportedly sent patrons at the development's shops and restaurants ducking for cover. Based out of Phoenix, Ariz., the chain opened its Atlanta location in June 2014. Zinburger uses Certified Angus and American-style Kobe beef, which is ground twice daily, for a menu of specialty burgers.
