A little more than two weeks after opening its doors, Hampton & Hudson has secured a liquor license. The Inman Quarter restaurant from Billy and Jenn Streck began pouring from its list of beer, wine, and house cocktails on Thursday.

The Strecks call their cocktails "playful, delicious, and delightfully uncomplicated." Libations on the opening menu include the Jefferson's Jetpack (Cathead vodka, lime juice, Orgeat, Framboise, Violette's, and egg white), Upper East Side (gin, elderflower liquor, lemon juice, ginger, fresh raspberries, and mint), and Hard Times (tequila, blood orange, lime, and Cassis, served as a shot with a High Life pony). More than 20 craft beers are available on draft, and the bar is offering a local, budget-friendly option by pouring SweetWater 420 for $3.
