Tupelo Honey Cafe Expands to Offer Lunch and Brunch

Asheville-based Tupelo Honey Cafe opened its first Georgia location three weeks ago in Sandy Springs. Initially serving dinner only, the shrine to Southern cuisine is now ready to debut weekend brunch and weekday lunch services. Henceforth, brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and starting next week, lunch is available Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A few plates from Tupelo Honey's dinner menu made their way into the lunch and brunch offerings, but many new dishes are set to be revealed. The lunch menu is centered around a list of sandwiches and burgers. At brunch, look for several entrees, plus biscuit sandwiches, salads, omelets, and egg scrambles. The "Shoo Mercy" pancake, the restaurant's signature dish comprised of a sweet potato pancake topped with buttermilk fried chicken, apple cider bacon, and maple syrup, makes an appearance on both menus.
