Moe's Original Bar B Que Plans Second Atlanta Location

Colorado-based Moe's Original Bar B Que is bringing another outpost to the Atlanta area. The chain officially announced plans for a new location at 12020 Etris Rd., Suite B-140, in Roswell's Sweet Apple Village development. The timeline calls for an August opening.

"With square footage of 2,800 and a seating capacity of approximately 100, the new spot utilizes rustic looking woodwork with antique metal trims to provide a classic down-home Southern feel," reads a press release. "Like most Moe's Original Bar B Ques across the country, the Roswell eatery has an open kitchen feel, giving customers a full view of the Ole Hickory smoker and the food being prepared."

Moe's opened its first Atlanta location in Midtown back in 2011. The chain currently operates 45 restaurants across the country, covering Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wyoming. In addition to the forthcoming Roswell outpost, Moe's is planning to set up shop in Carrollton as well.

While it serves an array of smoked meats and sides, the chain specializes in pulled pork shoulder with a tangy tomato sauce. The Roswell location will be open for lunch and dinner daily.
