Foxeria del Sol, the annual festival put on by Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q and Taqueria del Sol, returns next month for the third year in a row. The Sunday evening fest is scheduled for August 28 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and tickets are on sale right now. Admission is $30, and proceeds benefit Hogs for the Cause, a nonprofit organization that "operates as the premier funding source for pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the United States."

The festival, which shines a spotlight on New Mexico's hatch chiles, will go down at Taqueria del Sol's Westside location at 1200 Howell Mill Rd. NW. Tickets include unlimited access to several food stations, and beverages from Red Hare Brewing Company, Three Taverns Craft Brewery, and Jose Cuervo will be available for purchase. Fox Bros. and Taqueria del Sol have put together "a menu of sweet and savory dishes highlighting the flavor of the hatch chile." For those who don't eat meat, have no fear: vegetarian options will be available.
