— It’s the dawn of a new era at One Flew South. The Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport restaurant has named Jared Hall as executive chef, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Hall replaces longtime chef Duane Nutter, who left in May to pursue a new restaurant in Mobile, Ala.

Hall, an Atlanta native, has been at One Flew South since 2008, and he’s being promoted from sous chef. Details on how, or if, the chef will change the restaurant’s menu were not immediately available.

— James Wampler is the new head mixologist at The Georgian Terrace hotel’s Proof & Provision. Wampler’s goal in his new position is to “refocus the cocktail menu by bringing emphasis back to classic cocktails” at the Midtown bar.

“I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel, just grease it a little,” Wampler said in a prepared statement. “I already have the vision where I want to take the cocktail program at Edgar’s Proof and Provision, and I am looking forward to getting to work. I just really want to make it a place for people in Atlanta to relax and enjoy an amazing cocktail.”

— There’s new blood running the kitchen at Eclipse di Luna in Buckhead. Brian Owen is now serving as executive chef following Shan Holler’s departure for the same role at Eclipse’s Dunwoody location. Owen has developed a new menu to make his own mark.

“Our goal with this new menu is to elevate the dining experience while still paying homage to the unique tradition that is celebrated here,” he said in a prepared statement. “We have worked really hard on this menu and can’t wait for our guests to try it out.”
