Armour Yards, the forthcoming mixed-use development situated between Midtown and Buckhead, has another tenant on board. East Pole Coffee Co. has signed a lease at the development, according to an announcement, paving the way for a new coffeeshop and roastery.
Matt Chesla, Jared Karr, and Jules Tompkins make the ownership group behind East Pole. Their 1,713-square-foot space will "prominently feature the company’s roasting production, similar to an open-kitchen restaurant concept."
"The idea is to center the whole experience of the cafe on our roasting production, which will be visible to patrons," Tompkins said in a prepared statement. "We'll be able to showcase everything that we do, and a big part of that is operating a full-scale, top-notch cafe experience in a part of town that would welcome a local specialty coffee brand."
There’s no word yet on when East Pole might open. It joins Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q as officially announced tenants for Armour Yards, and more will be revealed in the future. The development’s neighborhood is already home to SweetWater Brewing Company and ASW Distillery.
