John Currence, the James Beard Award-winning chef behind Oxford, Mississippi’s City Grocery, is coming to Atlanta for a meet-and-greet. Currence will make an appearance at Midtown’s 5Church this Sunday, when he and 5Church chef RJ Cooper, a Beard winner in his own right, will serve a three-course family-style brunch. The meal will feature recipes from Currence’s new Big Bad Breakfast cookbook.

Reservations are required and can be made by calling (404) 400-3669. The event is $50 per person and will include a discussion between Currence and Cooper on "life as award-winning chefs" (lol) and Big Bad Breakfast. The cookbook will be available for another $30; Currence will stick around to sign copies.
