After closing three restaurants in Morningside and another in Atlantic Station last year, angry chef Ron Eyester has resurfaced in Sandy Springs. Eyester is running the kitchen at the former Nancy G’s, where he’s been working with owners Nancy and Coleman Goodrich to revamp and rename the concept. Now, the chef has officially unveiled Southern Bistro.

In an email blast to newsletter subscribers, Southern Bistro is described as a restaurant "that features approachable American cooking in an atmosphere that exudes pure comfort and simplicity." An accompanying video reintroduces Eyester to Atlanta’s dining scene.

"We’ve got some exciting stuff on the horizon," Eyester says in the video. "Not just looking to play with a bag of old tricks. Looking to, I guess, define Ron 2.0."

Southern Bistro is open seven days a week: Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Take a look at the complete lunch, dinner, and brunch menus below.
