Wildleaf Is Bringing Fast-Casual Salads to Buckhead This Saturday

Randy Lewis, formerly of The Southern Gentleman and Gypsy Kitchen, is launching a new salad concept this weekend. Wildleaf will open Saturday at 3280 Peachtree Rd., taking up residence on the ground floor of Buckhead’s Terminus building.

Wildleaf will operate strictly as a take-away business, but there is indoor and outdoor common seating adjacent to the space. Lewis tells Eater Atlanta the concept is inspired by a salad trend that’s taking off in other cities across America. “With the kind of craze, the Sweetgreen and Chopt concepts that are growing elsewhere in the country, we thought that Atlanta was missing the salad frontier,” the chef says. “I think Atlanta is a lot healthier eating city than people give it credit for.”

Diners can build their own meals based on a selection of greens and grains, toppings, proteins, and dressings. Lewis has also developed a menu of house creations inspired by various cuisines from around the world. Wildleaf will offer smoothies and juices, and because it’s taking over a former Yogurberry space, frozen yogurt will be available for dessert.

Service at Wildleaf will run Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lewis says breakfast, with options such as yogurt and acai bowls, could be added in the future. Take a look at the opening menu below.
