Revolution Doughnuts Nears Its Inman Park Debut

A second outpost for the doughnut shop

Beloved house of fried dough Revolution Doughnuts is getting ready to open its second location. The Decatur original plans to begin service at its Inman Park outpost “in a week or two,” according to a Thursday Instagram post.

Revolution Doughnuts first revealed plans for a second shop in December 2015, and the original timeline called for a spring 2016 launch. But, as is often the case with Atlanta restaurants, the permitting process knocked that plan off schedule. The new Revolution is settling in at 745 Edgewood Ave. SE, directly across Waddell Street from essential pasta purveyor BoccaLupo.

Owner Maira Moore Riggs opened the first Revolution Doughnuts in 2012 on West College Avenue in Decatur. The shop uses organic flour, local dairy, fresh fruit, natural flavor extracts, and trans-fat free vegetable oil for all of its products. In addition to the doughnuts, Revolution offers a coffee and espresso from Americus-based roaster Cafe Campesino.
