Hobnob Expands With a Second Location in Brookhaven

Hobnob, the neighborhood tavern that opened in Morningside in 2010, is eying expansion. A second location is in the works for Brookhaven, according to a Friday announcement, and it will move into the space at 804 Town Blvd, #1010. An early timeline calls for service to begin this may. Further details were not immediately available.

The space previously housed Smash Kitchen + Bar, which opened in the Town Brookhaven development in September 2013. Smash operated as part of the Here to Serve restaurant group, which collapsed in October 2015.

— Fast-casual Cracker Barrel offshoot Holler & Dash is coming to Atlanta. The growing chain, which specifically targets a millennial clientele, will take up residence at the Westside Ironworks development, reports Tomorrow’s News Today. The restaurant is taking over a space that was home to the recently closed Tom + Chee. Holler & Dash focuses on biscuit sandwiches and modern Southern fare, and it currently boasts locations in Nashville; Birmingham, Ala.; Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Celebration, Fla.

— West Cobb Diner is getting a sister restaurant in the southern part of Cobb County. South Cobb Diner is on track to open this March, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The restaurant will serve Southern comfort food at 5850 Love St. in Austell.

Mediterranea Restaurant & Bakery is on track to open in Grant Park sometime this month, reports the AJC. The restaurant is planting at 330 Ormond Street SE, and it will serve "healthy, farm fresh, gluten-free fare" with Mediterranean influence, according to What Now Atlanta.
