Atlas, the St. Regis Hotel restaurant that opened just over two years ago, has made some changes. After a renovation project, Atlanta Magazine reports The Tavern at Atlas is now open in the restaurant’s library and lounge area. The new side project, which is more casual and lower in price, reportedly offers a new menu and cocktails. Service begins at 4 p.m., seven days a week.

Papi’s Cuban & Caribbean Grill will take over the former Bonefish Grill space at Emory Point on January 30, according to a Monday announcement. It’s the seventh outpost for the local chain. Located at 1540 Avenue Pl., Suite B-240, the restaurant will serve lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Coffee and pastries will be available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily.

Local Republic is now open at its new home in Lawrenceville. The restaurant closed the doors at its original building on Saturday, and it’s ready to show off a larger space at 138 North Perry St., according to a Facebook announcement. The spacious kitchen includes a fryer and will allow chef Scott Smith to serve french fries for the first time, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
