Celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson, whom you may know from television appearances on Top Chef, Iron Chef, and Chopped, is bringing his cookbook tour to Atlanta. Samuelsson will be in town on Thursday, February 16, and Friday, February 17.
The Red Rooster Cookbook, which was released in October, is a companion to Samuelsson’s Harlem restaurant Red Rooster. The chef says his new book “brings together not only the recipes but the stories and style of the people of Harlem. In Atlanta, he’ll serve dinner and show off his skills.
- February 16: Samuelsson will join Linton Hopkins in the kitchen at Restaurant Eugene. The dinner will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets, which come with a complementary cookbook signing and a Q-and-A with Samuelsson and Hopkins, are $150 per person, and they’re available by calling the restaurant at (404) 355-0321.
- February 17: From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., the chef will take to the third floor of Macy’s at Lenox Square to offer a cooking demonstration.
