Essential Krog Street Market restaurant Ticonderoga Club is getting a makeover this Sunday. The Atlanta Falcons are squaring off against the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, and T-Club will celebrate by transforming into “Coach B’s Sports Bar & Grille.” Expect plenty of sports bar fare taken to a higher level by chef David Bies.
Pregame service will begin at 3 p.m., and at 6:30 p.m., Ticonderoga Club Coach B’s will show the Super Bowl in the dining room. On the menu, look for wings, nachos, and “more football classics.” Athens-based Creature Comforts will provide a few beers: Green Ghost, Reclaimed Rise (Up), and Tropicalia.
This is the second one-day metamorphosis T-Club has undertaken. In August, the restaurant became Captain B’s, serving a traditional Southern fish fry. That event saw lines way out the door, so diners interested in cheering for the Falcons at Coach B’s may consider an early arrival.
Update: See the complete Coach B’s menu below.
