Downtown workers, get excited about way more lunch options coming soon to Peachtree Center. The complex is about to undergo a major renovation that will massively transform the three-story retail center and outdoor courtyard, as Curbed Atlanta puts it — check out these shiny renderings of a modernized courtyard and atrium. The new name for all this is “The Hub.”
Now, the Atlanta Business Chronicle spells out the restaurants that are going to be part of Peachtree Center’s dramatic refresh. There’s going to be something for everyone, from fast-casual, health-conscious salad chain Salata to the praline-focused Southern Candy Company, which is moving from a pop-up outpost at Peachtree Center to a brick-and-mortar store.
Minneapolis’s Bep Eatery, known for pho and $2 spring rolls, is making its Atlanta debut. Paradise Biryani’s owner is opening a new restaurant called Taste of India, and there reportedly will be another outpost of Cuban restaurant Beni’s Cubano from the restaurant group behind Tin Lizzy’s Cantina.
All these restaurants are slated to open at Peachtree Center as this year wraps up and into early 2018, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Peachtree Center’s shiny plaza and retail core renovation is expected to debut in the spring of 2019.
