Chef Hector Santiago’s El Burro Pollo burritos have a way of popping up around holidays. The chef is reviving his beloved Burro Pollo today for a Dia De Los Muertos pop-up at El Super Pan, his sandwich shop in Ponce City Market.
This happened in May on Cinco de Mayo, and today, fans get another crack at those burritos starting at 5 p.m. until close — or until supplies run out. Feel good about scarfing down chicken barbacoa too, because the pop-up will be donating 10% of all proceeds to earthquake relief for Mexican Los Topos rescuers.
Check out the menu for the pop-up below, which includes a very appropriately spooky cocktail called the Vampirito with mezcal, vermouth, and spicy sour orange.
