Need Friday plans? Deep End, the 1970s Southern California-inspired restaurant from the team behind The Pinewood Tippling Room in Decatur, is throwing a big grand opening party tonight — with music acts and temporary tattoo artists.
Deep End's been in soft-opening mode all week, but the new restaurant at 621 North Avenue in the old Old 4th & Swift space is making it official this evening starting at 5 p.m. Get there for frozen drinks, tacos, choco-tacos, the aforementioned temporary tattoos and Deep End swag.
Deep End is set to serve nachos, tacos, breakfast all day, and a really intense-sounding double-stacked cheeseburger. Check out the entire menu here.
As for the design, there will be a stage for live entertainment and a large projection screen (perfect for movies like Jaws, which will be screening tonight at the party).
