The historic Jones House at Alpharetta City Center will get a new restaurant in 2018 from a chef with a resume that includes big names like Marcel and St. Cecilia. According to a press release, Chef Taylor Neary will serve as executive chef at Restaurant Holmes, an "eclectic neighborhood restaurant and bar" serving American cuisine.

That means a dinner menu with dishes like coal-roasted beets, crudo, pasta, and wood-fired fish. The 60-seat restaurant will be decked out with leather banquettes, dark tile, and murals from graphic artist Greg Mike (who created murals for Double Zero). MT Studio Architecture and Couch Construction Services are handling the design of Restaurant Holmes, which will be located at 50 S. Main Street.

Neary's cooked at restaurants like Roux on Canton, Little Alley Steak, and Opulent in addition to St. Cecilia and Marcel. His upcoming restaurant has a familiar moniker. “Holmes” is a six-generation family name for Chef Neary, according to the release.
