Another brewery is coming to Atlanta’s Westside. Steady Hand Beer Co. announced Tuesday it had secured space at 1611 Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard across the street from TopGolf. They plan to open in spring 2018.

The 14,000 square-foot taproom and production facility will house a 30-barrel brewhouse for their core beer offerings as well as a system for the brewery’s seasonal and pilot beers. Steady Hand is planning to construct a stage for live music in the taproom which will feature 15 to 20 taps, a private events area, and provide space for food trucks.

Brothers Brian and Kevin Sullivan and their business partner Randy Wise founded Steady Hand in 2015. Brian will be the brewery’s brewmaster. He brings with him 20 years of experience having been head brewer at 3 Sheeps Brewing in Wisconsin and chef at California’s Pyramid Brewing.

Steady Hand’s Paradise Waits IPA and a Georgia farmhouse ale are currently on tap across Atlanta. Flower Business double IPA and Paradise Waits are also available for purchase in cans and a seasonal farmhouse ale will be in bottles soon.

Steady Hand joins TopGolf, Bacchanalia, and Star Provisions who have taken up residence along Ellsworth Industrial in Westside. The move is likely brought on by the promise of the future BeltLine expansion. The planned Northside trail will cut through Ellsworth north of Huff Road and follow the railroad tracks on its way to Northside Drive.
