The Shutter
Dolce, the Italian restaurant from the team behind American Cut and The Regent Cocktail Club, will close its doors on December 30 following dinner service. What Now Atlanta reports Dolce is the second closure to hit the restaurant group this year at Shops Buckhead. Corso Coffee closed in August. The space is now occupied by Revelator’s all-day cafe The Mourning Dove. [WNA]

Pop-Up Alert
#bombass biscuits are back Saturday, December 16 according to Erika Council’s (aka @southernsouffle) Instagram page. And, this time is absolutely the last biscuit breakfast at B’s Cracklin’ Barbeque for the year. However, Eater Atlanta has it on good authority B’s and Ms. Council are working on making her biscuit and beignet breakfasts permanent in 2018. Breakfast is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. [Instagram]
OK YAKI in my Belly the pop-up purveyors of the Japanese street food okonomiyaki (savory pancake) Sun in My Belly in Kirkwood every Friday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. throughout December. Team HIDI 6.0 is sold out
This year’s Team HIDI sold out in record time with both tastemaker and regular admission tickets gone a full month and a half before the event. The popular January food event brings restaurants and bars from around metro Atlanta together for one night to raise funds for The Giving Kitchen, an organization which provides grants to restaurant industry employees experiencing unanticipated hardships.
