— Fans of late New York City rapper Biggie Smalls should mark their calendars for Thursday, March 9. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Sound Table, chef Joey Zelinka will prepare a “gastronomic tribute to The Notorious B.I.G.” This event follows a Biggie-themed dinner Zelinka whipped up last year, and the menu will feature one new dish and four “remixes” of previous offerings. The Sound Table bartender Navarro Carr will be pouring cocktails, and owner Karl Injex will serve as host. Tickets are $75 to $85 and available online.
— On Thursday, February 16, Old Fourth Ward’s Condesa Coffee will host an "Unsung Atlanta” photography exhibit. Beginning at 7 p.m. the free event will include coffee, tea, cocktails, wines, and local craft beers while photographer Aaron Childree showcases his work. Childree is “inspired by the city and seeks to use his art and music as a channel bringing attention to the positive and beautiful,” according to an announcement.
