Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards chef Savannah Sasser is leaving the Decatur restaurant, according to a Friday announcement. Sasser will stick around for the next month while Twain’s searches for a replacement.

"Savannah has been a wonderful team member for Twain's and it was such a pleasure to watch her grow in our kitchen," Twain’s owner Ethan Wurtzel said in a prepared statement. "While it is of course sad to see her go, we wish her the absolute best of luck, and we're also very excited to see what this new chapter of Twain's will look like with a new chef and our new brewmaster, Mike Castagno."

A representative tells Eater Atlanta Twain’s is “looking at all options and certainly conducting an outside search.” There’s no word yet on where Sasser will land for her next gig. In addition to her time at Twain’s, the chef developed the menu at The Comet Pub & Lanes.

Update: Sasser will take over the executive chef position at Hampton + Hudson in Inman Park, reports the Atlantic Journal-Constitution. She’ll replace Jason Hall, who recently left for a job with Kimpton Hotels in Los Angeles.
