— This Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Park Tavern will host a food festival benefitting Songs for Kids Foundation. Chefs from more than 20 Atlanta restaurants, including Gunshow, JCT. Kitchen & Bar, The General Muir, and Wrecking Bar, will be on hand to provide the grub. Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift cover bands will provide the live entertainment. Tickets start at $45 for the festival and are available online. For more information, visit Songs for Kids’ official website.

Songs for Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports “kids both in and out of children's hospitals and special needs camps through live interactive concerts, hospital bedside performances, and our Songs For Kids Records songwriting and recording program.”

— The Atlanta Community Food Bank is raising money for its annual Hunger Walk/Run, and supporters can provide donations at 40 restaurants across the city. The Dine & Donate program will run through Sunday March 5, and participants include Ford Fry Restaurants (The Optimist, Superica, JCT Kitchen, and more), Concentrics Restaurants (Tap, Parish, Nexto, and more), Fifth Group Restaurants (Lure, La Tavola, Alma Cocina, and more.) Unsukay Concepts (Local Three, Muss & Turner's), Cakes & Ale, D.B.A. Barbecue, Bocado, and Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall. Last year, Dine & Donate raised more than $130,000 for the ACFB. More information can be found on the ACFB’s official website.

— Open Hand Atlanta will host its 25th annual Dining Out for Life event on April 26. Nearly 100 restaurants around Atlanta will donate at least 25 percent of the day’s profits to Open Hand, an organization that provides more than 5,000 meals each day to “underserved, chronically ill individuals across 17 north Georgia counties.” See the full list of participating restaurants on Open Hand’s official website.
