— Ponce City Market’s The Mercury, a shrine to mid-century dining from the folks behind The Pinewood and a couple of upcoming Buckhead projects, is giving the Central Food Hall a new brunch destination. Each Sunday beginning at 11 a.m., The Merc is serving a menu with dishes such as crab Benedict, steak and eggs, and corned beef hash. And for anyone with a massive appetite (or hangover), an all-you-can-eat buffet is available for $34.95 per person. Cocktail service starts at 12:30 p.m., and the beverage list includes classics like the French 75 and Pimm’s cup. Oh, and bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys are $19.95.
— Smokebelly BBQ is getting in on the brunch game in Buckhead. Each Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Smokebelly is offering smokehouse spins on traditional brunch entrees, like eggs Benedict with brisket and a biscuit, as well as biscuits and gravy, bananas foster-stuffed French toast, a Cajun jambalaya omelet, and more. Cocktails, available at 12:30 p.m., include mimosas, bellinis, and a bloody Mary bar.
