A roster of Atlanta’s top kitchen talent is coming together to support a local chef in need. Jason Fisher, 29-year-old sous chef at No. 246, has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer for the second time in two years. To support their fellow industry veteran, the city’s culinary community will put on a fundraising dinner at the Decatur restaurant on Sunday, March 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition to talent from local empire builder Ford Fry’s restaurant group, the following chefs will participate in the event:
- Andy Gonzalez
- Anne Quatrano
- Billy Allin
- Brandon McGlamery
- Chris Hall
- Collin Miles
- Drew Van Leuvan
- Gerry Klaskala
- Hector Santiago
- Jason Zygmont
- Jonathan and Justin Fox
- Josh Hopkins
- Linton Hopkins
- Miles Macquarrie, Bryan Rackley, Matt Christison, Jesse Smith
- Nick Melvin
- Rusty Bowers
- Terry Koval
- Todd Ginsberg
- Todd Richards
Heaven Hill Distilleries and Terrapin Beer Co. will provide the beverages.
The dinner, a potluck-style, backyard event, will include entertainment in the form of ping pong and a live band. Entry is complimentary, but No. 246 suggests a $40 donation that can be made online. Funds raised will benefit Fisher and The Giving Kitchen.
