Paul Nair of local market chain Savi Provisions is the owner. Chefs Anish Nair and Vijeesh Parayil will team up to lead the kitchen, mixing a blend of French and Indian influences and modernizing traditional dishes. Diners can expect mashups such as a French espagnole sauce spiked with coriander, cumin, and cardamom to mimic a tikka masala.
Beverages include the ubiquitous craft beer, wine, and cocktail lists, and non-alcoholic drinks such as lassi, chai, and madras coffee are also available.
Jai Ho’s opening hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. The restaurant will launch weekday lunch service and regular wine dinners in the coming months.
