After opening its doors in late December, Scout has thrown its hat into Atlanta’s brunch ring. The Oakhurst restaurant is now serving a variety of hangover cures Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Chef Michael Semancik is serving a menu of “early risers,” “day trippers,” and bowls. The first category includes granola, pancakes, French toast, and a few egg dishes. The second covers heartier entrees that skew toward the lunch side of brunch — chicken thigh parmesan, whole smoked chicken wings, and the like.
Cocktails, available at opening on Saturday but only after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, include Scout beverage director Nate Shuman’s take on the mimosa and bloody Mary. There’s also the “about last night ...” with zodiac vodka, lime juice, cucumber, ginger beer, living vinegar, colloidal silver, and Maldon salt.
Take a look at the complete menu below.
