In an effort to give Atlantans a taste of “the golden age of cocktails,” The Traveller Bar has arrived at the lobby of the Loews Hotel in Midtown. A pop-up that is zig-zagging its way across the country, the bar set up shop in Atlanta on March 3.

The Traveller Bar is making stops at 25 different Loews hotels in the United States and Canada. Its journey began in Chicago last June. The bar is constructed out of parts from an old elevator car, and it’s reassembled at each destination. It comes with a library of 50 “vintage cocktail books,” although, because everything can’t be a throwback, they’re available for viewing on an iPad.

Originally scheduled to leave town on April 1, The Traveller Bar has extended its stay through Saturday, April 8. Below, see it in action on a recent Tuesday evening.
