— There is now a late-night destination for private karaoke rooms and Vietnamese cuisine in Grant Park. Fam-Fam is popping up in a space behind Octane Coffee/Little Tart Bakeshop at 333 Wood Street SE, Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m. till midnight for food and 3 a.m. for singing. Reservations for private rooms can be secured by texting “hi” to (404) 328-7070. “Fam-Fam Karaoke, a temporal creation by the Inventions group RadioKo, makes real-deal karaoke for ITP,” reads the project’s official website. “We love Bu-Hi as much as you do, but gas is no joke.”

The food comes from Le Chat, the pop-up version of Buford Highway’s Chateau Saigon. The kitchen team is serving a menu that includes pho, banh mi, and an intriguing mash-up dish called a “phorritto.” Beer, wine, sake and batched cocktails are also available.

— After a brief hiatus, Ronen Knife, former Gaja chef Allen Suh’s recurring pop-up, is coming back at The Sound Table in Old Fourth Ward. Suh will take over the kitchen on Monday, March 13, at 7 p.m., Sound Table owner Karl Injex tells Eater Atlanta. Ronen Knife dinners will be held on the second Monday of each month, and the pop-up might return to its previous weekly format in the future. Diners can expect dishes that highlight fresh seafood and knife skills.

Joystick Gamebar will soon have a new resident in its kitchen. Beginning Monday, March 13, S3: Simply, Savory & Spiced will be in charge of food service at the Sweet Auburn watering hole. Chef Rajan Mistry will serve his own takes on South Asian fare such as vegetable samosas, naan pizza (naan flatbread with spinach pesto, mixed cheeses, and chicken keema or mushroom keema), and “naanchos” (naan chips layered with shredded tandoori chicken or spiced ground paneer, mixed cheeses, cabbage, lentil pico, and cilantro cream). S3 is the latest installment of Joystick’s Kitchen Incubation Program, which allows chefs who hope to open their own restaurants to fine-tune their concepts.

“We love how Raj combines his grandmother’s recipes with traditional bar food,” Joystick co-owner Johnny Martinez said in a prepared statement. “It's that sort of individuality that fits in perfectly with Edgewood. We’re very excited by this menu. It’s unexpected and unlike anything else on this street.”
