Ryan Burke Is IN at Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards

Twain’s Brewpub & Billiards has new blood running the kitchen. Less than a month after Savannah Sasser announced her departure from the Decatur restaurant, Ryan Burke has been named as the new executive chef. Twain’s made it official in a social media post on Wednesday.

Twain’s decided to promote from within: Burke has been with the restaurant as a sous chef for five years. After a bit of a transition period, he will reveal his updated menu in April, according to the announcement.

Sasser vacated her post as Twain’s executive chef to take the same position at Hampton & Hudson in Inman Park. There, she replaces opening chef Jason Hall, who recently took a job with Kimpton Hotels in Los Angeles.

This is the second big staff shuffle at Twain’s in the past few months. Former head brewer Chase Medlin parted ways to work on his own venture, and Mike Castagno took over the beer program in October.
