It sounds like Hugh Acheson is working on a new restaurant in or near Atlanta. The Top Chef judge, cookbook author, and restaurateur posted a call for a local executive chef on Twitter Tuesday afternoon.
Looking for a executive chef for a project we are working on. DM me if you would like to chat. Atlanta area.

Reached for comment, Acheson tells Eater Atlanta it’s “too early” to share any details, but he did indicate something is in the works for a later announcement.
Acheson’s Georgia restaurant empire includes Empire State South in Midtown, Five & Ten and The National in Athens, and The Florence in Savannah. He’s also a partner in Ponce City Market’s Spiller Park Coffee. Recently, the chef joined national dining and entertainment chain Punch Bowl Social as culinary partner, and he got on board at the Atlanta Braves’ SunTrust Park with First & Third Hot Dog & Sausage Shack. Acheson and Spiller Park partner Dale Donchey are planning a second, standalone location for the coffee shop in Toco Hills.
