The folks at Ticonderoga Club are working on a new experience for patrons at their Krog Street Market restaurant. The indoor patio that opens up into the market, once a destination for spiedie sandwiches and sort of a holding pen for diners waiting on tables since day one, will soon transform into something called “The Pineapple Room.” Partner Bart Sasso tells Eater Atlanta the impending change is part of T-Club’s attempt to offer “a number of experiences under a single roof.”
“Until now, the outer, patio-styled area of the restaurant has acted merely as an antechamber to the market,” Sasso says. “Soon, however, it will metamorphose into a West Indies-styled cocktailing veranda, a more casual area for snacks and drinks and people watching, perfect for before or after dinner at the Club, that will also be available for private parties.”
There’s no firm date scheduled for the change, and Sasso says the timeline is tentative.
