Kasier’s Chophouse, a new steakhouse from chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun, officially opened earlier this month at 5975 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.
Kaiser most recently ran the kitchen as executive chef at the now-defunct Twist in Buckhead, and Rathbun has a few eponymous restaurants around Atlanta, including Kevin Rathbun Steak in Inman Park and KR SteakBar in Buckhead. Kaiser’s is serving traditional American steakhouse fare, with an extensive selection of beef and seafood. The bar menu offers several cocktail standards and a long list of mostly Old World wines.
The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry designed the space. Diners can expect a large walnut bookshelf separating the bar area from the dining room, a floor-to-ceiling wine cellar, spherical chandeliers, and fresh flowers throughout the dining room.
Hours at Kaiser’s are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
