Having just opened a second location for their Smyrna restaurant, the Muss & Turner’s team has another new project in the works. Unsukay Concepts is planning to open a “modern chophouse” this July, according to a want ad posted on Craigslist.
“The group behind Muss & Turner's and Local Three has a new, innovative concept slated to open in July, and we are looking for a chef de cuisine,” the ad reads. “We are looking for a chef capable of handling daily operational duties for our newest venture, which we are loosely calling a modern chophouse.”
Further details on the new restaurant, such as an address, were not mentioned in the ad. It sounds like ownership has been trying to keep intel under wraps: “You didn't know we are working on something new? Great, we really haven't told many folks what we are up to. So here is your chance to find out and become part of something very special.”
In addition to the Smyrna and Marietta Muss & Turner’s locations, Unsukay Concepts operates Local Three in Buckhead.
Update, 5:40 p.m. A representative for Unsukay says the company is staying mum for the time being, but “I can tell you that this is a project unlike anything the group has worked on before and a fresh concept for Atlanta.”
Update, May 4, 10:15 a.m. The restaurant will be called War Horse. More details here.
