Dale Murphy spent 15 years playing the outfield, first base, and catcher for the Atlanta Braves, and now he’s opening his own restaurant near the new home of the Bravos. Murphy is planning to debut the appropriately named Murph’s at 1 Galleria Parkway in the Cobb Galleria Centre this June.
Details are scarce at the moment, but Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts have been established, as has an official website. A full menu has not been released, but an email sent to newsletter subscribers indicates dishes will include “juicy half-pound burgers, specialty salads and sandwiches, mini crab kickers, buffalo shrimp, and Santa Fe chicken egg rolls.” A Facebook post describes the restaurant’s cuisine as “legendary food inspired by a legendary career.” Instagram and Twitter bios call Murph’s “the perfect spot for a pre-game bite, a post-game meal, or lunch and dinner any day of the week.”
Eater Atlanta has reached out to Murph’s for more information.
