Grammy-winning rapper T.I. opened downtown restaurant Scales 925 in 2015 and after the first year became the subject of many legal battles, including an eviction notice from the landlord of the building and a suit from former employees for unpaid wages.

Scales 925 shuttered in October 2016, but the lawsuits continue. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that T.I. and former business partner Charles Hughes are the subject of a new allegation. Former Scales 925 bar manager Avery Lee claims he was not paid the $27,486 that he won against Scales 925 Atlanta, LLC, the company that managed the restaurant.

T.I.’s attorney Albert Chapar Jr. said that Venue Restaurant Corporation, the company that owned Scales 925, is responsible for the debt, not the entertainer.
