Sushi is coming to historic downtown Roswell from the folks behind One Sushi + and Katana Teppanyaki & Sushi.
Monkey 68 will officially open for service tomorrow, June 22, at 5:30 p.m. on Green Street. The street is already home to long-time staple restaurants Greenwoods and Swallow at the Hollow and runs parallel to bustling Canton Street in the historic district. Situated in an older home, Monkey 68’s exterior fits the vibe of the quaint street but once inside the mood shifts to a slick, modern design with a central bar and two dining rooms.
According to a press release, chef David Yun of One Sushi + heads the kitchen and will focus on the restaurant's sushi program “with a complementary dinner menu with Asian small plates and entrée staples.” This includes a selection of popular sushi rolls from One and Katana. Beer, wine, sake and a full bar with cocktails round out the beverage program. See selections from the menu below:
