Southern rocker and Grammy award-winner Zac Brown is teaming up with the Atlanta Hawks for a full-service restaurant in Philips Arena.

The north Georgia native plans to open Zac Brown’s Social Club in the newly renovated arena during the 2018-2019 season to correspond with the 50th anniversary of the Hawks. ESPN reported Wednesday the revamped Philips would also include the NBA's first courtside bar, a Killer Mike’s barber shop, and two suites with Top Golf simulators.

Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin said via press release, “As the first of what will be many new amazing dining options, we are proud that Zac, an Atlanta icon, is helping us reinvent our dining experience.”

Executive chef Rusty Hamlin of Brown’s lifestyle company Southern Ground will head the kitchen and plans to design his menu around traditional southern fare. In addition to the full-service restaurant, the Social Club will also have a quick service concession stand.

Outside of his musical life, Brown’s other passion is food. He said of the new venture at Philips Arena, “I love that food represents togetherness and gathering everyone around the family table for a great meal. I’m excited to open Zac Brown’s Social Club and invite Atlanta to our table.”
